Alright, everyone. Before we go crazy here, I am going to attempt to make this review as spoiler-free as possible. No plot information or character progression will be revealed here. HOWEVER, if you want to know literally nothing about the movie whatsoever, then do not read this. There are a few jokes that I have to mention because they were absolute gold. Ground rules settled? Alright, great. Let’s get to it!
Guys, it’s hard to write spoiler-free reviews, especially for a movie like this. For a movie as well-made as this. As someone who has watched this franchise from the very beginning, I can wholeheartedly say that this is the best Marvel movie ever made. The hype is real, you guys.
First of all, the scale of the movie is ridiculous. It covers so many topics, plot lines from all over the Marvel universe, and physical locations. This is definitely a movie that you have to pay attention for three straight hours, and you will have no problem doing so. There are enough plot twists, quotable lines, and explosions to last you.
The acting is, of course, incredible. All your favorites (that haven’t been turned to dust) are out in their best form. They mix the solemn with Marvel’s classic humor. Stan Lee (R.I.P.) even makes his classic cameo- see if you can spot him!
Speaking of mixing the solemn with the humor, one thing I have to mention is the audience reaction to this movie. It’s always really cool to watch a big movie like this in a full theater. This was no exception. The laughs were loud, the sobs were louder, and there were cheers. Cheers! People were screaming and clapping like they were watching the Super Bowl! And, to be honest, so was I. There are a few scenes where, if you are not 100% amped in those moments, then I don’t know what to say to you.
Between you, me, the ghostlight, and the entire internet, this is one to see in theaters, not when it comes out on Netflix or DVD or whatever method you use. This movie is an experience, especially if you have friends or family who are Marvel geeks. This movie takes you on a journey and closes all the gaps that need to be closed. Until next time, blog lovers!
P.S. It is definitely America’s ass. (You’ll get it when you see the movie.)
